FIU Foundation takes home nine awards, advances to Platinum category in 2021 CASE District III competition

The FIU Foundation was recently honored with nine awards and two additional honorable mentions from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (District III), the preeminent professional organization in educational advancement.

The Foundation’s submission for the “Best Practices in Advancement Services” category (New Depths of Digitalization and Mobility in the FIU Foundation), which earned the Silver Award from CASE District III, advanced to the organization’s Platinum Awards competition as a finalist.

Howard Lipman, CEO of the FIU Foundation, said the projects awarded “represent the excellence of our Foundation team and our collaborative ‘One Team’ spirit, which advance our FIU every day.”

“I am proud of their outstanding work and its recognition by colleagues in our profession. They reflect the continuing evolution and maturity of our fundraising and alumni programs. The decision to invest in these vital areas will generate dividends of progress long into the future of our FIU,” Lipman said.”

District III, which represents institutions in the Southeast United States, conferred the following awards to the FIU Foundation:
