The gift of a well-chosen book is a special way to commemorate a milestone in life, and graduation from college is among the most significant turning points a person will experience. Honor the drive, passion, and commitment it took your Panther to graduate by purchasing a digital bookplate in their name.
A gift of $50 to FIU Libraries will fund an honorary digital bookplate for your graduate. A link to the bookplate will be placed in the library catalog record of a book on a subject of your choice. The link will also identify your special Panther’s name and year of graduation. Each bookplate features an artistic rendering of the Green Library on FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique campus inscribed with the student’s name and year of graduation.
These custom digital bookplates are designed to replicate the paper bookplates placed on the inside cover of a book to commemorate a gift or to identify the book as part of a personal library or institutional collection. Just as our Panthers remain part of the FIU family long after they graduate, a digital bookplate will serve as a lasting emblem of their academic achievements within the FIU Libraries collection.
